Once again, a working group from the University of Leipzig was able to demonstrate the high potential of TIVITA . This study on the monitoring of free flap grafts illustrates that HSI technology provides reliable data for monitoring perfusion and oxygenation of the flaps, detects complications at an early stage and is far superior to other techniques.

In addition, a second publication by Mühle et al. appeared, which describes the integration of HSI into the intraoperative neurosurgical workflow and gives hope for the future that HSI can also provide assistance in this specialty. The main focus here is on tumour detection and the determination of resection margins.
