We are the pioneers of Medical Spectral Imaging.

As a young medical technology company, Diaspective Vision GmbH has been an innovation driver in the field of spectral camera solutions for medical applications since 2015.

Diaspective Vision develops and produces high-quality hyperspectral and multispectral camera systems for use in various areas of medicine. With our application-oriented product solutions, we provide competent and flexible support for both clinical and preclinical applications.

We are firmly convinced that Medical Spectral Imaging will decisively change medicine. Our products will provide users with new diagnosis-supporting possibilities, which can contribute to faster and better decisions in everyday clinical practice. The focus of our daily work is to improve the outcome for patients, clinicians and the entire healthcare system!

From the very beginning, the entire DV team has relied on close cooperation with clinical partners from various disciplines in order to develop practical and application-oriented systems.

Milestones

August 2023 Successful completion of the MDR certification process.

July 2021 The first prototype MALYNA® (multispectral camera) is delivered to a cooperation partner.

May 2021 Three new products are registered as medical devices - TIVITA® 2.0, TIVITA® Mini and TIVITA® Mobile.

October 2020 The self-developed, broadband LED illumination source is shown to be viable for hyperspectral applications. This lays the foundation for the follow-up product of the TIVITA® Tissue, the TIVITA® 2.0, and a proprietary illumination source for endoscopic applications.

September 2020 A study from Leipzig shows equivalence of clinical outcomes when using HSI and ICG.

January 2020 The second company building, the "Kegelrobbe", is occupied. Editorials are published in two prestigious journals "Der Chirurg" and "Der Onkologe" dealing with the topics "spectral imaging" and our TIVITA®.

June 2019 The first miniaturized HSI cameras are tested to pave the way for endoscopic applications.

March 2019 Diaspective Vision GmbH welcomes Karl Storz SE § Co. KG as a new shareholder.

January 2018 Initial studies in visceral surgery suggest that perfusion disturbances in parts of the intestine can be detected with the TIVITA® before they can be visually perceived by the physician.

September 2017 The TIVITA® Tissue is approved as a Class I medical device.

August 2017 The Diaspective Vision receives the certification for the quality management system according to 13485 after the initial audit.

June 2017 The Diaspective Vision wins the Health Industry Ideas Competition 2017 and is awarded a prize by the Minister of Economics Harry Glawe. For the first time, an extensive skin graft with a vascular connection could be saved in a study thanks to constant monitoring with the TIVITA® Tissue . This monitoring enabled the physician to determine the right time for revision in order to keep the graft alive and spare the patient further complications.

July 2016 The Diaspective Vision wins the first prize at the INNO AWARD 2016.

February 2016 Diaspective Vision takes over the entire operational business of SpekLED GmbH and welcomes two new shareholders: Keller Medical GmbH and Venture Capital Fonds MV GmbH.

July 2015 The first ERDF-funded R&D project entitled "HyperWound-CAM" is launched in cooperation with the University of Rostock and Wismar University of Applied Sciences.

May 2015 Company foundation of Diaspective Vision GmbH by Dr. Axel Kulcke.

2013 Patent application relating to a device and method for capturing a hyperspectral image (TI-CAM).
